The Infatuation’s first-ever Pride Bake Sale is here. Throughout June we’ll be partnering with LGBTQ+ and ally bakeries in New York City, Chicago, and LA to make one-of-a-kind treats to celebrate Pride. Not only are these creations sweet and sparkly, they’re helpful too, as the Pride Bake Sale is benefitting The Queer Food Foundation. The Infatuation is donating $50,000 on behalf of partner bakeries to help fight food insecurity in the LGBTQ+ community. You can learn more about The Queer Food Foundation’s important work here. So gather your rainbow sprinkle-loving friends, get involved by supporting these spots, save room for a psychedelic pop-tart, and enjoy the sweetest celebration of Pride possible.
Coolhaus makes incredible and imaginative ice cream sandwiches, available from their roving truck (check their IG Stories for where they’ll be the next day) and retailers all over the city. For June this woman-owned, Queer-owned empire is serving up Love Out Loud sammies in collaboration with GLAAD.
This Santa Monica staple serves some of the most reliable breakfast and pastries on the Westside. For the Bake Sale they’re serving a glazed brioche donut with rainbow icing, available instore all month long.
Huckleberry’s sister ice cream spot is getting in on the action too with the Pride Pop, a white chocolate pudding pop dipped in white chocolate magic shell and coated with rainbow sprinkles.
Besides excellent puns, this bright and airy Frogtown shop serves vegan scones, cookies, turnovers, and galettes, many of which are also GF. For Pride, Just What I Kneaded is serving a funfetti cake-batter-filled Pop-Tart, topped with Pride and Transgender flag-colored glaze.
